am i responsible for an accident if my name is on the lease
my ex boyfriend & i were moving out of our apartment when he may or may not have hit the carport with his moving truck that he rented in his name and i never drove? we were currently not together at the time.they say iam because my name was on the lease. they say iam, what are my rights and what should i do?

Did you sign anything or allow your ex to use your identification or anything? Were you even present when he rented the truck? If you did nothing to lead the rental company to believe you agreed to be responsible, then they have a tough case against you. They have a better case for fraud against your ex.
