If the beehives are directly impacting your ability to reasonably occupy the premises, what is known as your "quiet use and enjoyment" of the leasehold, then the landlord is responsible to remove them. If they are just on the property, and they do not directly interfere (i.e. such as being away from the residence and out buildings), then its less clear as to who would be responsible, as well as whether the hives can be removed at all. For instance, if these hives belong to the landlord and they were there when you rented the property, then you may be stuck with them. If they are wild bees, then the balance shifts to the tenant since the tenant may not have known he'd be confronted with such an obstacle when the tenancy began. Without more detail it's hard to give you an answer.
