Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

rights of a tenant

I served our roommate(landlord) a 30 day notice which was to expire Nov 7, 2007 but due to safety reasons had to vacate premises on Oct 7, 2007. Can I sue for not getting my 30 days and moving costs

Re: rights of a tenant

You can always sue. The question is whether you can win.

You have given me hazy facts. Are you talking about suing roommate or landlord? What safety reasons? Why did you move?

Please either resubmit, or e-mail my office with clearer facts, and I'll try to help you.
