Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I have a roommate who is not paying his half of the rent. We are both on the agreement and the landlord says there is nothing he can do. Is there someway legally I can evict my roommate?

No, because you are co-tenants rather than your roommate being a sub-tenant. All you can do is take your roommate to small claims court for the unpaid rent.
