Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

San Francisco Housing Authority Unlawful Detainer advice

I am a tenant of the San Francisco Housing Authority aka Housing Authority of the City and County of San Francisco. My question is that the SFHA has served me a 14 Day Notice back on March 21, 2007 by mail that was dated March 13, 2007 for Non-Payment of rent. On June 1, 2007 - a Unlawful Detainer was filed using a May 8, 2007 14 Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit with a Delcaration of Proof of Service for the Notice that claims the notice was served on March 8, 2007. Ofcourse, I have never seen either the posted or mailed copy of the May 8, 2007 notice. Ofcourse, all of the rents they claim to not be paid has been paid by personal check and the checks have been paid by their payment processor, U.S. Bank. My attorney who is from a non-profit organization in the Answer under the Affirmative Defenses - Other section put down as a reason ''Plaintiff's attempts of recovery of possession is fraud.''

It is unclear what your question is. Also, I hesitate to get involved with a question where there already is an attorney representing you, because that lawyer knows much more of the facts than I do.

Please feel free to e-mail me with a clear question (or questions).
