Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

satisfied judgement

I paid a judgement for an unlawful detainer. It has been paid for 4 years now. I can not get it marked as paid. Is there anything I can do against the landlord that the money was paid too.

Re: satisfied judgement

We will be glad to review your documentation and set up an appointment by phone to assist you. Generally, a letter should be sent citing the appropirate code section and allowing the creditor 15 days to satisfy the judgment. Should that not be done, a motion to satisfy the judgment should be filed.
