Are you the landlord or tenant?...Are we talking about a rental lease (contract)? If landlord, what is the reason for terminating? If tenant, why do you want to leave? And, everybody needs to do it in writing, and keep a copy. If you aren't able to personally hand the notice, mail it by certified mail. E-mail me a few more details, and I'll do my best to answer.
