Get the security deposit back

Two of my friends and I rent an apartment last year. We moved out on June 30th. We all haven't received the deposit check yet (suppose to send one check to each person). I called and the lady said that one of the address was typed wrong, but all three of us didn't get the check. We asked her to reissue another check that has all three of our names. She seemed like didn't want to take care of it. I am pretty sure that the checks have not sent to any of us. What can I do to get my security deposit back?

File a small claims case seeking return of your security deposit. The local courthouse will have forms and information on filing small claims. Good luck and thanks for inquiring.
