Security Deposit
After 3 yrs. we were forced to move after our Landlord sold his property. We left the home and yard in good condition, but are worried that he will skip out with our deposit. After 3 yrs. what things are we responsible for, i.e. painting and such things. Most importantly, how long does he have to send us our deposit? Thank You.

Your are responsible for any damage other than normal wear and tear.
He has 21 days from your move out date to provide you a list of items that constitute damage, deduct the cost of repair and refund the balance.
