Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
Selling of property
I live in a property where mobile homes are rented. I do not own my trailer, but i have been living in that property for over 30 years. Now the property has been sold by the owner and is giving all the tenants 3 months to move out. Is this legal? Do the owners have to give each tenant a certain amount to move into another place? There have been letters sent out, but they are not stamped or sealed. It's a typed letter from the owner. Do these letters need to have a special stamp or seal? What is the maximum amount of time they can give to move out?

Re: Selling of property
Three months notice is adequate, after a property is sold. This is perfectly legal, and you have time to move to another place. You received the letter. Why should letters be sealed and stamped? The last question is hard to understand. You have three months, and that complies with the law
