was i served correctly?

I was served by my ex tennant. They served the papers at my p.o. box. I was not present. Was this legal?

If it's a U.S. Postal Service box, service is improper. If it's a commercial mailbox store, service probably is okay.

If they served the commercial mailbox store, they are required to also mail you a copy of what was served.
