Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I was served with unlawful detainer so i answered to it with a demurer i was late for court so they heard the case was told trial starts on the 18th June the next day was served some more documents about what happen in court it says i have 5 days to answer what do i do i just need some more time can you give me some advise
