Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I have a signed and filed "Verification" from an att. stating that he is the legal counsil because the party he is representing is out of the county. That is not true, the people are still in the county. Ih this a penalty for perjury under state law? If it is what can I do about it? Thank you.

Though this technically may be perjury, it's not a fight you're going to win. You'd have to get the DA to prosecute. And even then the clients would just say they were out of the county that day. The good news is that it weakens the attorney client privilege when it comes time for discovery. So be glad for that and run with it.
