small claims

If me and my roommate are cotenants and she left while still on the lease what should I sue her for, the rent she hasn't paid or the amount it would cost to break the lease.

She owes for the entire length of the lease, unless you are able to find another roommate to take over.

Take her to small claims court.

You may want to considering hiring an attorney to write her a letter. People frequently are afraid of a lawyer who is warning them.
