Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

In the state of California, can I immediately get evicted if I don’t pay my rent on time. My rent is due on the 1st but I won’t have it until the 10th. There is a late fee that gets added after 24 hours but if I pay that as well could I still be evicted
