What you are asking about is the restrictions under "Megan's Law".

The KLAAS Kid's Foundation offers a wealth of information regarding this issue.

YOu can find out more from their site than I can provide here. The part you want is located at http://www.klaaskids.org/pg-legmeg.htm.

There is also a 1.75 MB .pdf file provided by the NJ Department of Criminal Justice. It is located here: http://www.state.nj.us/lps/dcj/megan1.pdf

Remember to vote to keep Megan's Law active; it is meant to protect your children from repeat offenders.
