Re: Right to stay

It appears the recission of contract was given to your roommate; however, legally, you should still be bound to the lease.

The most practical solution, however, is to simply ask your landlord if you can stay. Your landlord can prepare a new lease for you to sign. There should be no problem is you can show you can afford the full rent.

This is general information that I hope has been helpful to you. However, you should always obtain legal counsel familiar with your specific circumstances. If we can assist you in the future, please contact us at www.unalaw.com and somebody will assist you as soon as possible.
