Tenant 3-day notice question

2 questions:

1.Does a 3-day notice include holidays and weekends?

2.I paid my rent in a DropBox (like we always do) after the 3-day notice and then 2 days later my check was given back to me. Didn't the landlord accept it by providing a dropbox?

You should document your history with the dropbox and document your attempts to pay within the timeperiod. Take those documents with you to the unlawful detainer hearing.
