if i am not on the lease, but have been living in the home for 1 year am i considered a tenant

Sorry, but I cannot answer without more facts. Are you alone, or is a roommate on the lease? Is there a written lease? Does the landlord know you have been there? Depending on your answer to these questions, you may be a tenant?
