Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I had a tenant rent a room on a month to month. It wasn't working and I gave him a 30day notice in mid September. He moved in 2 wks without notice and didn't return keys, clean room and damaged screen. What do I deduct from deposit?

You must send out the security deposit disposition with 21 days of him vacating. You can charge for reasonable cleaning and for damage to the screen.
