Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I have a tenant who requested to terminate there one year lease after 8 months because her hours have been reduced. However, I denied her request and lowered her rent for this month allowing her to get additional hours for next month. She lives with her fiance who just became an attorney. Since I denied her request, she all of a sudden has problems with the bathroom and other things in the apartment. How can I prove that she is the one making these issues with toilet, pluming, etc. because she I denied her request? All of these issues started the day after I denied her request...

She has a right to put up with things that are wrong until she doesn't want to. Unless she is lying about problems with the unit, you have to deal with them unless you want to hand her a defense to an action for non-payment of rent and eviction should it come to that.
