Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
My tenant rights, sale of leased premises
I moved into a house, with three units Feb. March I got a letter that the building was being sold. The first ''open'' house,in April and since,I've done my best to adhere to the R.E. Agents and their schedules. I never know when they are going to call and when I can't call them back to say yes or no, I got 2 letters saying I appeared difficult One of the units is vacant and has been for 2-3 months. Can't they just show the vacant unit and walk the perimeters of the building and leave me alone? It has been slow for a month, but now they want to show every 2 days and this Sunday. I'm afraid to protest as they consider me ''difficult''. I pay rent on time, that should count for something. Some, ask me how much I pay, or how much I make,I tell them to confer with the management company about that. Not sure how to ask for scheduled times, they are desperate to sell, and consider my requests for more convenient times being uncooperative. What can I do,without branding myself as an unruly tenant

They are required by law to give you 24 hours notice to show the property.
