Tenant's Early Termination of Lease Agreement

Can I charge the tenants car mileage reimbursement for showing the rental property from the time they provided the written notice to terminate the lease up until the property was rented out? Thanks

I am going to give that a NO unless you specifically included that provision in your lease - I have never seen this FYI. This is a cost of doing business you may write it off on your tax return. You can always ask for it if you have to sue them but getting it is another matter. Problem is you would have had to do the same thing early termination or not - correct?
