Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

My tenants girlfriend visits and most of the time it ends in domestic violence. The girlfriend is not on the lease. To prevent further action against my tenant, can I write a letter to my tenant advising his girlfriend is no longer welcome on my property? In addition, write the girlfriend a letter too given notice she is no longer welcome on my property and if found she will be considered trespassing ? Thank you.

You cannot restrict who visits your tenant.
