Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
Tenants served me 30 day notice to end the lease on 11/21/16 to move out on 12/31/16. They were not ready on 12/31 and asked for 6 more days until 1/6/17 and promised to pay the 6 days on 1/2/17. They did not pay and now are not ready to move out until 1/8/17. How do I evict them?

If they haven't moved yet (your post is a few days old), you might serve a three-day notice to pay rent or quit and follow up, if necessary, with an unlawful detainer lawsuit to regain possession.
