What can I expect and what are my
rights and responsibilities based on my
landlord having not paid his mortgage
for six months on the buliding I live in
(for more than fifteen years)?

Assuming your information is correct, you have almost nothing in the way of rights and responsibilities.
If there is a foreclosure, the new owner can evict you with 30 days notice. Your deposit will be refunded by the new opener.
The fifteen years is superfluous. I would start looking for a new place ASAP.
