Help with termination notice
i have had problems with renting from my grandma. it's a coverted garage thats not a legal residence. it has a bathroom and kitchen and a small loft big enough to sleep on. i have delt with the broken down truck in my driveway that i was promised would be removed. we have been here since sept. or october. also she had some of her personal belonging in our yard. she has given us a termination of tenancy to leave in 30 days. we have a month to month lease. can she make us leave with out a good reason? and what reasons would be good reason? she also told my brother she wanted to raise our rent so we'd move out, so she could in turn raise the rent even higher. is that legal ? thanks for all your help

Have you been there over a year. If so, a sixty day notice is required.
