Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I told my landlord I was always sick and wanted them to check out my apartment for mold. She ignored me. Then I called the health department and they found mold in my room. What legal action shall I take or should I just get out of my lease?

You need to make sure the health dept. issues a citation. Once that happens the landlord has 30 days to fix the problem or you get all kinds of rights to withhold rent, move out and charge the landlord a relocation penalty, and other rights.
