Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
transfer phone bill
The phone bill at my house is in the
name of former housemate. He refuses
to transfer the service over, even
though he lives somewhere else. Is he
liable to transfer or cancel the service
and/or pay the fee? can we take legal
action against him if he refuses to do
so?

Re: transfer phone bill
If he's being a jerk, forget about him. Get another phone line in your name. He'll remain liable on the account. Good luck
