Im being transfered out of state for a job. Am I liable for the remainder of my lease? or how can I get out of it?

Yes, you are liable. It is not the landlord who caused the problem, so why should he/she be responsible. As a practical matter, since the landlord is required to mitigate damages by trying to re-rent the unit as soon as reasonably possible, courts normally only hold the tenant liable for 1-2 months of rent after the thirty day notice is given by the tenant.
