Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

UD question

I am going to court on 04/27/09 for UD. Landlord wants to now make the repairs that are on the complaint. Further the city noted the apt unit bootleg so I still have to leave. Do I have to let her in and start making repairs?

Re: UD question

I am not quite certain if I am reading you correctly, but it sounds like your landlord rented you an apartment that was not properly permitted. Is this correct?

If he filed the UD, what repairs is he demanding, usually these are taken from your security deposit, that's its purpose. Unless you made some serious damage, I do not see how the landlord can claim additional without filing a lawsuit for damages. Was this also filed or only the UD?
