unlawful detainer

An Unlawful Detainer answer to a summons with postage proof of service date of the 18th of this month must be answered by what is the last date to file an answer to the complaint ? The summons and complaint were filed on the 16th, but like I said, ''summons and complaint post marked on the 18th''.

On the fifth day from date of service, and if not personally served, ten days from date post marked.
