unlawful detainer

if an unlawful detainer is dismissed is the tenant responsible for paying any legal fees? my property manager is asking for me to pay over $1000.

I'm not sure I agree with Attorney Bravos entirely. If it was dismissed because you won (or for several other reasons), then yes, he is correct and they cannot charge you fees. If, however, it was dismissed because you settled with the Plaintiff, then you could be responsible for fees. You need to speak with an attorney to determine what your rights may be.
