Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
an unlawful detainer was filed against me, and i went to court on it and was ordered to pay the amount of the rent owed to the management company...but then the mangagment company agreed to reverse the judgement by removing the eviction from my record and any fees that were asked upon in court.
my question is:
if the the judgement was in error, would a "satisfaction of judgement" the same removing the eviction like it never existed or is it look at like it was on my record but i then paid all fees in full?

A satisfaction of judgment means that you have paid a portion of the judgment. It is not the same as reversing the judgment which would mean that a judgment did not exist. For purposes of your credit report, the latter would be much more favorable.
