Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I have had a unlawful detainer notice against me at my apartment and now possible judgement but made a payment plan to payoff. Will a new landlord rent to me(I don't want to be homeless, due to this). If I offer a bit more for deposit would that help. Its not a big rental corporate apartment but a landlord of 3 small units. PLEASE ADVICE, thank you

The court docket (list of cases) for unlawful detainer cases is locked for 60 days after filing, so no one can have access to it, not the credit reporting agencies, and not future landlords. If you pay off the old landlord, part of the bargain should be dismissal of the unlawful detainer case and permanently sealing of the court record for the case. Try to work this out with the landlord's attorney.
