Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Unlawfull Detainer/Trespass

I currently reside in Nevada, but I own an old cabin home in Landers, San Bernardino County, California. A friend has been looking out for the property for us. He had our permission to live there, store property, and raise birds. He did not have Power of Attorney, conduct business affairs, or allow any one else to live on the property or to lease the property. He is currently allowing a third party to live there (and perhaps leased to that party)without our permission. I verbally told him to have the person and all personal property out of there, however the person still resides there. How do I get him out, his property, and never allow him to return? How do I terminate/prevent the person who casued this to happen from accessing the property permanently, to reomove any property he smight have there, and return the keys to me?

Thank you!

Re: Unlawfull Detainer/Trespass

You need to serve a notice of termination of tenancy since it appears he has possession legally from your friend. Then you will need to evict them if he does not appear. Our office emphasizes evictions and we are in San Bernardino County. Give us a call or email me. cost is $200 attorney fee plus costs for an uncontested eviction.
