Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

unsafe/ unsanitary rental issues

I currently reside in a what I consider ''hazardous'' living environment and have uncompensated property damage as well as stress and inabilities to use sections of my apartment. No compensation or alternate living space has been offered and I fear eviction even though this problem is not of my doing. I have gathered photos of these ''situations'' and don't know how to handle this. I am unemployed and have no real income as of now. What should/can I do?
