Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
voice recording in home
I live with 4 other guys in a apartment. Can I record their voices without their knowledge during a house meeting, even if they tell me I can't? What rights do I have while in my house?

It is illegal anytime and everywhere in California to record a conversation without the consent of all people recorded. Consent may be implied, such as leaving a voicemail, but there must be consent. Otherwise it is a crime.
