water leak through roof and nopthing yet still done about it

well almost three weeks ago i had submitted a working order for my roof to be repaired and nothing was done due to the secong event of rain as i find the rain coming back through even more profusely i make a complaint and there excurse is that i wasnt there to show them where the location of the leak is, well as my fiance returned home last night she walked in to an inch of rain on our door step and soaked all accrossed my apartment, no furniture was ruined but to make matter worse the manager at the frobnt office was the one i had to remind about our work order that was trotally forgotten about, now i feel this has been a major hardship for the last three weeks and for something that i pay 13 hundred dollars a month. i have much more to tell but i need advice on this,

You can start with a letter to the management listing all the problems and a suggestion for a reduction or abatement of rent for that month. If that goes nowhere, you can file suit for breach of contract, breach of peace and quiet enjoyment and negligence. They won't evict you if you sue first. Don't stop paying your rent, though.
