Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I have a waterbed. The property was purchased by a new owner. What am I repsonsible to provide them regarding my waterbed. Before I sent the owner an insurance statement for waterbed coverage of $150,000. Now I have renters insurance with liability coverage and sent the new owner a Certificate of Insurance with my policy and agent blacked out for privacy. The new owner wants to be a Addtionally Named insured or certificate holder, but my insurance says they are not insurable interests under my policy and will not do that. My insurance agent says my policy covers for water damage that I'm legally liable, but the new owner wants a waterbed ebdorsement specifically. What should I do? Thank you.
