Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
Just over a yesr ago my husband and I separated. At that time we agreed to take my husband off the rental lease. 7 months later we reconciled and he moved back. I told the kandlord that I wanted to wait a while before adding him back on just to see how things went. My kandlord soon after that added my husbsnd back on without consulting me. Is tgat legal?

A written lease is not required to create a tenancy. A tenancy is created when the tenant occupies the premises with the landlord's permission in exchange for rent. People don't become or cease to be parties to an agreement without the consent of all parties to the agreement.
