Does an accountant have to disclose to his potential clients that he has or is being treated for a gambling addiction?

Unless his gambling problem has come to the attention of state licensing authorities and made the subject of a disciplinary order re disclosure, there is no affirmative obligation for the accountant to disclose this information to clients.
