Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
I asked a mortgage broker if I would qualify to refinance. I also send him my tax returns so that he has an idea about my income. However, at this point I didn't complete any application or signed anything. Once he told me how high the interest rate would be, I decided that this is much too high. But then I learned he had run my credit report already without my authorization.
Is this legal or illegal??
