Attorney client disclosures
Is my attorney of record obligated to notify me of a foreign criminal law suit filed against me. My attorney of record has had knowledge of the existence of this action for several months

Your term "attorney of record" is not something in the law books as far as I know.
If it pertains to the case he is handling for you, it would seem to be incumbent on him to notify you, but, I would need to know a lot more facts before chastising him.
