Attorney-Client Privelege & Email Communications

Are there any reported cases that have held one way or the other that sending confidential attorney-client communications via unencypted email constitutes waiver of either the attorney-client privelege or rights from the attorney work product doctrine?

There are no cases either way. So far it is only a silly theory advanced by attorneys who have little understanding of the subject.
