Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

I bought a truck in 2004. My mom put it in her name. I have been making payments on it from day one. She comes over and takes it and says shes not giving it back.Can take her to court?

If the truck is in your mom's name, there is a legal presumption that it is her truck. You could take her to court, but absent a written agreement between her and you that the truck was yours, the presumption in her favor will most likely prevail.
