Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

We are a California based, charitable, nonprofit- a registered 501 c 3. We directly serve poor and in crisis people. Under California nonprofit law, are there provisions that protect us if we temporarily deny services to clients who disrupt programs and services and/or threaten staff?
