Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

My car was serviced by a company near my home, during the repair of the shocks and struts the brake line was not attached to the strut as it should be, the result was 300$ repair bill after my brakes failed to stop my can and I managed to come to a stop safely without injury to me or anyone and without damage to my car or any other property. Do I have a leg to stand on in court?

What I think you are asking is, do they owe you money over and above the cost of repair because you were emotionally traumatized by almost having an auto accident, and the answer is no. Same for loose-lug-nuts cases. No crash, no harm, no foul, no lawsuit. If you had crashed your car, that would be a different story.

I'm glad you were able to stop your can.
