Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
Digital photographs used on a website.
While I was an employee of a small corporation, I took some photos to be used on their website. I was told I would be paid for them orally. When I equired as to when I would receive payment I was told by the owner '' I paid you for your time as an employee''. I was led to believe I would be paid for the actual photographs. I have checked the website and these photos are still being used. Can I sue for payment of these, or royalties for using my photos on his website? I still have the original unedited gigital images that I originally shot, and copies of the edited versions that were submited for use on the website.

Re: Digital photographs used on a website.
Go to your nearest small claims court, and get the forms (or use the internet) to file a small claims action. Sue your former employer, and tell your "story" to the judge.
Good luck!
