Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Eviction atty

Does a client have recourse in regard to billing by an atty if it is believed

the atty did not perform in a satisfactory manner?? All eviction agreements

have been completed by court, but we think were poorly negotiated.

Your retainer agreement with the attorney should have set forth how any fee disputes would be resolved. Contact the Bar for information on mediating fee disputes.
